brief hiatus

so the ink on my poster is dry; it's snug in its lime-green mailing tube, on which i have compulsively written my address and hotel information. yesterday alice and i were pretending our poster tubes were rocket launchers. i don't think we should do that in the airport.

if anybody really cares, which i suppose some may, as i associate with many dorks like myself, my poster is entitled 'immunochemical characterization of idiotypic abeta preparations.' and if you *really* care you can go to http://sfn.scholarone.com/itin2004/, make up an ID, and search for my abstracts (if you don't know my last name, you probably shouldn't care about my abstracts).

aanyway, i'm leaving tomorrow and when i get home, i think a set of KYB AGX's will be waiting for me, and my hyperco gen2's. while i'm in san diego i plan on seeing my erstwhile best friend from high school, getting a tour from her, going to the zoo, hob-knobbing with the neuroscientific who's-who, watching F1 brazil, and making a list of why i'm glad i decided not to follow my job out to california.

i kind of need to go pack. then teh honeybear and i are having takeout indian and watching family guy. *yay*. shortly after my return, i'll be having a birthday. you may send checks or money orders, along with the appropriate festive well-wishings, to my work or home address.
